Position: Title I Instructional Assistant (.5), Elementary School Permanent Support Staff (Anticipated)
Location: Holland Elementary School
Available: August 31, 2026
Hours: 3.5 hours/day; 5 days/week (17.5 hours per week) (Not Benefit Eligible)
Requirements:
The Title I Instructional Support Assistant will provide supplemental literacy instruction to students identified for Title I services. The staff member will work with small groups of students on a regular basis to support literacy development. The staff member will complete the following duties and responsibilities:
- Consult with classroom teachers and literacy specialists to assist with planning instruction
- Develop and deliver supplemental literacy instruction based on student needs
- Assist with assessing student literacy needs
- Monitor student progress throughout the year
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with Title I regulations
- Communicate student progress with classroom teacher
- Participate in Title I parent engagement activities at the building and district level
- Other building duties as assigned by the building principal
In addition:
- Previous Teacher Assistant Experience in Elementary School setting preferred
- Ability to collect data, work with team of educators, and carry out academic support plans
